Who we are:
Think Water Auckland is a specialist water solutions business focused on the design, supply, installation and maintenance of irrigation, Plumbing, Gasfitting, pumping and filtration systems. As part of the Think Water network, the group is committed to providing solutions towards the rapidly changing landscape of water management throughout Australasia. Due to growth, we now require two assistant irrigation technicians to join our team and help lead from the front.
The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager our primary responsibility will be to assist in the diagnoses, repair, maintenance and installation of a range of irrigation, pumping and filtration equipment for our customers. This will involve, but not limited to, diagnosing, creating a solution and carrying out works to meet the needs of our customers, whether in the field or in-store as required, completion of all relevant paperwork relating to jobs undertaken both in the workshop and on site, materials take-off and ordering of parts and equipment may be required.
The Successful Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will have a can-do attitude, knowledge of pump repairs and installation of irrigation equipment will be well regarded. You will demonstrate a proven track record as an effective team player as well as a strong passion for superior customer service delivery. A current driver is mandatory, as will the ability to complete a Cert III in Irrigation or equivalent. Flexibility with working hours as weekend work may be required on a roster basis (summer time only). The preferred candidate must also be willing to travel for training and work as and when necessary.
